Every year, countless equines face neglect, abuse, or death, often ending up in kill pens destined for meat processors abroad. Through no fault of their own, these horses are abandoned or sold at auction as rising costs overwhelm their owners.

Our rescue costs average $2,600 per horse in the first month, covering purchase, quarantine, vet care, and transport. Monthly food and supplements alone cost $250, excluding ongoing medical expenses.
