Flor Custodio
Board Member
My name is Flor Custodio I am in my latest 40’s, I was born in Tecate B.C. Mex in a family of 6. We lived between the city and a ranch with animals in San Pablo that my parents had. This is where I discovered that I loved being around the nature and animals.
My education turned in two different paths, I wanted to be an artist (painter) I took it like a hobby and I study a BA in Mass Media Communications and a 2nd one as an Event Planner.
I am married and have 1 child-she is the one who brought me back to what I used to love. She started horse riding with my friend, and I started after a few years.
My family and I began as volunteer in The Rescue after we went to the 1 st anniversary in 2022, helping with different activities hand on in the ranch and helping organize events. Since then, we love to be a part of this community that helps and support this noble cause.

Dr. Jane Doyle, DVM
VETERINARIAN
Jane Laura Doyle, DVM earned her veterinary degree at the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 1989. From the beginning, she practiced and studied classical homeopathy, gradually eschewing other modalities. She worked for two years as the director of Hopi Veterinary Service on the Hopi Reservation in Arizona. In 1991 she moved to Berkeley Springs, West Virginia and began a house call/farm call practice. Four years later she opened her clinic, AnimaliA Veterinary Care, in that same community. The practice has persisted over the decades, with a holistic focus. Most all of the illnesses and injuries that she sees are treated with classical homeopathy and nutrition. Dr. Doyle also does telephone consultations in classical homeopathy and nutrition, with clients across the USA and Canada.
While not working, Dr. Doyle enjoys visiting with friends & family, traveling, forest bathing with her dogs at her home in the woods, cooking, television, gardening, and pyrotechnics. Other boards she has served on include Crackerjacks Fireworks Club and the Unitarian Universalist Church of the Shenandoah Valley.

I want to express my gratitude for having the privilege of working at Tecate Horse Rescue and being part of a wonderful organization.
I began working for the rescue the month of October 2022, every moment of everyday, caring and handling horses that was poorly neglected and starved.
These horses came not trusting humans because of the way they were treated.
We had sad times and triumphs and we had happy times, there were tears but we were expecting this, we had to try to do whatever it took to save them.
We strived for our goal through hard work and understanding to get them healthy, trained and to trust humans again so they would someday find their living homes and they did.
Tecate Horse Rescue made sure every horse was taken care of for in any way possible.
Dj and Mike are wonderful caring people who made this all possible.
If you love horses and want to experience once in a lifetime and strive to help these innocent animals, kindly call Tecate Horse Rescue and volunteer, spread the word to keep the rescue going.
