Update: Cinnamon has been adopted after being fostered.
Timeline:
September 17, 2022: The first mare and foal pair recovered enough for transport to Tecate. They arrived in good condition and quickly settled into their new home.
September 26, 2022: Cinnamon accepted a halter and fly mask, along with her foal, Shuga.
May 2024: Now approximately 3.5 years old, Cinnamon is believed to be a Quarter Horse cross. She halters, ties, loads, trailers, and stands calmly for baths and farrier work. She has begun saddle training and is making steady progress.
Cinnamon continues to thrive and grow into a well-mannered horse with a promising future.
