September 2022 - Ozzie was rescued in Texas and taken to a ranch in Kemp Texas for quarantine.  While there, he had to go to the vet,  The vet asked his name and the person presenting Ozzie said "Well... the owner's last name is Osborne so why not Ozzie?"  So Ozzie was named.
While in quarantine, Ozzie was able to gain weight, then came down with strangles.  Ozzie recovered from that case of strangles, gained weight, then came down with another case of strangles fromwhich he did not recover. 
October 28th 2022 - Sadly, Ozzie was humanely euthanized today after several bouts of not being able to rise on his own while being in pain.
