Sweetie was purchased at the Bowie Texas Livestock Auction from the 'Direct Ship' pasture.  DJ had gone to look at the Bowie horses to find a request from someone for a specific horse.  While not able to fond that horse DJ saw Sweetie on the ground in a very emaciated state.  She was taken directly to a local veterinarian where she seemed to have gotten over the worst of her condition.  While in quarantine  awaiting transport to Tecate Horse Rescue  Sweetie laid down one night and never woke up.
