May was purchased at the Bowie Texas Livestock Auction as an O'Dwyer "Last Chance" horse.  Molly is May's daughter who was also rescued.  May and Molly were left in a field with a Jack, and we expect that May is pregnant.  May was transported directly to our rescue along with Gracie, Molly and BB King.  May is, so far, the best conditioned horse we have rescued.  She is not well handled, does not like to tie, or stand, would not let us pick up her feet and hated fly spray, but we've come a long way in a couple weeks.  We hope to start real groundwork with her this week.
